I sing life's song of joy

Something from my quiet time by Ernest Holmes that I have been using all week. It really touched my heart and soul. Hope it adds to your quiet time.

"Knowing that the loving Presence is always closer to me than my very breath, I have nothing to fear. I feel this loving protection around me. I know that the song of joy, of love, and of peace is forever chanting its hymn of praise and beauty at the center of my being; therefore, I tune out of my mind all unhappy and negative ideas. I turn the dial of my thoughts to the sunshine of life, to brightness and laughter, to the joyous Presence of radiant Spirit. I lay aside all anxiety, all striving, and let the law of Divine Love operate through me into my affairs. Joyfully, I anticipate greater abundance, more success, and a deeper peace. Joy wells up within my mind and Life sings Its song of ecstasy in my heart."

Peace and blessings.

Faith

Something I read this morning during my quiet time.

"There is a wonderful saying in the Book of Isaiah: "Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." What does that mean but that God anticipates our needs, has foreseen and provided for them from the beginning! Our part then, is not to petition, but to train the heart in acceptance, and this we do through faith."

I wrote to a friend in need yesterday that - we came this far by faith. Indeed, faith will continue to carry us if we only believe and know the truth of our oneness, perfection, and divinity.

Peace and blessings.

Seven day detox of my thoughts

Wow, what a powerful and magnificent week. Just finished my detox I said I would do and it was awesome. I really did watch and observe my thoughts, made an effort to watch what I spoke, and kept my vibrations high. In addition to the detox, I continued to read from The Power and continued my gratitude journal at night. The combination of all of these gave me what I needed to live the amazing week I knew I could have. Nothing changed in my environment, but my thoughts, attitude, feelings, and words, and that changed my world.

I know several of you said you would try the detox as well. I would love to know how the week was for you. If you are just starting the detox, please check in when you are done.

Just wanted to share something from The Power about health that I thought was powerful. Have a wonderful week.

"What do you want? What would you love? Because that is what you must give to your body. Your cells are your most loyal subjects who serve you without question, and so whatever you think, whatever you feel, becomes the law of your body. If you want to feel as good as you did when you were a child, then give your cells those commands: I feel amazing today. I have so much energy. I have perfect eyesight. I can eat whatever I want and maintain my ideal weight. I sleep like a baby every night. You are the ruler of a kingdom and whatever you think and feel becomes the law of your kingdom - the law within your body."

Peace and blessings.

Another reminder from The Power

I am going to do a seven day detox of my thoughts, speech, and feelings. My intention is to let go of blame, criticism, finding fault, complaining, whining, and judging. I am going to start on July 23rd and go to July 30th and see how it feels, and see what I attract into my life. I invite you to make the journey as well. This is from The Power and reading this passage really inspired me to do this once again.

"Blame, criticism, finding fault, and complaining are all forms of negativity. All of them bring so much strife. With every little complaint and every moment you criticize anything, you are giving negativity. Complaints about the weather, traffic, the government, your partner, children, parents, long lines, the economy, food, your body, your work, customers, businesses, prices, noise, or service seem like small harmless things, but they bring back with them a whole host of negativity."

I am committed to living an amazing life and negativity does not fit into that life.

Peace and blessings.

The Power

A friend sent me the book, The Power by Rhonda Byrne, and I wanted to share a piece I read this morning that made so much sense to me. I hope it helps and inspires you as well.

"You were not born to struggle. You were not born to live a life where the moments of joy are few and far between. You were not born to toil in your work five days a week, with fleeting moments of happiness on weekends. You were not born to live with limited energy, feeling exhausted at the end of each day. You were not born to worry or be afraid. You were not born to suffer. What would be the point of your life? You are meant to experience life to its fullest and have everything you want and, at the same time, be filled with joy, health, vitality, excitement, and love, because that is an amazing life!"

Peace and blessings.

Meditation time

Something from the book - The Master Speaks- that I wanted to share.

"Our meditation is a quietness, a stillness, a state of receptivity in which we open our consciousness to impartation of the Spirit. Then when the Spirit answers - when we receive the impulse that gives us that sense or awareness that God is present - the Spirit we have touched, lives our lives."

Imagine a day where we allow Spirit to live our lives totally. Now, that is worth getting up a few minutes before the world invades on us and go into our "Secret place of the Most High" and be still with our Creator.

May you allow God to go before you and prepare each detail of your perfect day.

Peace and blessings,

I am joy

Something from my reading this morning:

I am joy

"I am the joy of God. I live this day in joyous
celebration knowing I am guided and directed,
loved and protected, lifted and gifted with all
that I need and desire. I am the joy of God."

May the peace of God be with you throughout your day today.
May we all be the joy of God.
